Square Woven Wire Mesh Mining Screens
Square woven wire mesh mining screen is the most commonly used opening shape in the mining, quarrying and aggregate industries. It is usually made of high carbon steel wear proof stainless steel wire. It has high mechanical strength, high tensile strength, excellent vibration resistance and high bearing capacity. There are several weaving types: double crimp wire mesh, flat-top woven wire mesh, and lock crimp wire mesh.
Features
- High mechanical strength, excellent wear resistance
- High tensile and high impact resistance
- A long lifespan
Weaving Types of Mining Screens
Double Crimp Wire Mesh
The double crimp wire mesh is manufactured by weaving pre-crimped metal wires together. It can be made of high wear-resistant carbon steel or stainless steel wire. Double crimp guarantees mesh stability as much as possible.
Flat Top Woven Wire Mesh
Flat top woven wire mesh is to have the metal wire embossed on one side only, while the other side forms a flat surface. The structure of this weaving method is very strong and can bear heavy loads. It is widely used in mining screens, quarrying screens, etc.
Lock Crimp Wire Mesh
The lock crimp wire mesh mining screen is manufactured by pre-crimp technology. Both the warp and weft are crimped at their intersection and make sure that there is no wire movement. The feature of the lock crimp screen is that the straight metal wires are connected at the intersection of the weaving through well-defined bumps. In this way, the metal wires can be firmly locked together to further ensure that the wires will not move.
